About Doodling Meditation

Welcome to Doodling Meditation, a quiet corner of the internet for slow drawing, imperfect pages, and small creative pauses.

This is a place where drawing is not about being impressive. It is not about perfect lines, fancy supplies, or making something worthy of a frame. It is about taking a little time for yourself, opening your sketchbook, and letting your hand move across the page.

One drawing. One quiet moment. A few lines at a time.

How this works

Every week, I share one simple drawing you can follow at your own pace.

Each letter includes step-by-step instructions, process pictures, and gentle notes to help you along the way. We usually draw with simple materials: pen, pencil, and paper or a sketchbook.

You can follow the steps exactly, change them, skip parts, cut corners, improvise, or turn the whole thing into something completely different. The point is not to copy perfectly. The point is to pause and draw.

What to expect

You can expect simple, beginner-friendly drawings with a calm approach.

Some weeks may feel easy. Some may ask for a little more patience. But the idea is always the same: keep it soft, keep it playful, and let the process matter more than the result.

You will find:

  • one drawing each week

  • step-by-step process photos

  • gentle instructions

  • simple pen and pencil materials

  • small tips for easier drawing

  • reminders not to overthink it

You can finish a drawing in one sitting, or you can come back to it during the week. There is no rush here.

The vibe

Think quiet corner, soft music, a warm drink, a candle if you like, and a sketchbook waiting nearby.

Doodling Meditation overlaps with art, wellness, and self-care. It is for those moments when you want to do something creative, but you do not want pressure. You just want a small peaceful activity that helps you slow down.

This is drawing as a ritual.

Not a challenge.
Not a performance.
Not another thing to be good at.

Just you and your lines.

Who this is for

This newsletter is for beginners, returning creatives, tired people, curious people, and anyone who wants a softer way to start drawing.

You are very welcome here if:

  • you want to draw but do not know where to start

  • you are looking for a calm weekly creative practice

  • you want a hobby that does not need fancy supplies

  • you enjoy sketchbooks, paper, pens, and pencils

  • you want more peaceful moments in your week

  • you like the idea of making imperfect little drawings

You do not need to be “good at art.” You do not need experience. You do not need a perfect sketchbook.

Any pen, pencil, and paper will do fine.

About the drawings

The drawings are usually simple, cozy, and inspired by everyday things: little objects, plants, food, seasonal details, quiet corners, and small things that are nice to notice.

They are made to be approachable. Something you can try without feeling overwhelmed.

Some lines may wobble. Some shapes may turn out strange. That is allowed.

Imperfect pages are part of the point.
